In Memory of Scott Coates
Scott Coates was a man of compassion, integrity, humor and style. He will be sorely missed by his family as well as the hundreds of friends, clients and acquaintances who loved and respected him.
Scott’s experience with Ocular Melanoma was marked by his unfaltering determination, positive spirit, and concern for the people around him as they withstood the difficult time together. While this period of Scott’s life was physically and emotionally painful, he was comforted and encouraged by the steadfast love and support he received.
Scott understood the toll that this disease takes on people and he hoped that others would be spared this pain through the Ocular Melanoma Foundations’ efforts to find better treatments and an eventual cure.

Ocular Melanoma is a rare disease. Therefore funding for research to find a cure is very limited at this time. Contributions in Scott’s honor can be sent to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation.
